Vacation and Learn How to Take Care the Environment

Bali has a unique culture and unique tradition that’s make Bali famous by tourist around the world. Beside that, the environment is also good and mostly beautiful. One of the unique is the”Tri Hita Karana” concept.  The concept is harmony to the God, harmony to community and harmony to the environment. Well, now the Bali environment are getting worse because of the human activities, especially the marine environment. The ecosystem of the ocean is bad. What one of the animals are getting to conservation is the sea turtle, because of the human being to catch them to sell the shell and their meat. Here now I would like to inform one of the sea turtle conservation in Bali. Here is it!

The Turtle Conservation and Education Center located on Serangan Island. It opened by Bali Governor, Mr. Dewa Brata  (Jan 20th, 2006)  in Serangan Island. Many turtles caught and people ate the egg. Because of that, Serangan Village creates this conversation.  Balinese People also used turtle in some ceremony.

This place is the best place to conserve turtle and save their nets. The people collect turtle egg in beaches of Serangan Island and bring into the conservation.  The egg is given a label when they hatch out, and what kind of turtle they are. After hatching out, some baby turtle kept in conservation and released into the sea. Not too much baby of turtle will grow up; they will catch by snake, bird, shark in the sea. Beside of that, you can learn about the turtle and get much information about turtle. There is seven kinds turtle in the world, and Indonesia has six kinds like Belimbing Turtle (Dermochelys coriacea),  Hijau Turtle (Chelonia mydas), Lekang Turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea), Sick Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), Pipih Turtle (Natator depressions) and  Tempayan turtle (Caretta caretta). It recommended the place to visit on Paradise Island when you get a holiday. I believe your trip will be an incredible and unforgettable experience.

The TCEC is helping sea turtles from going extinct and as a charity organization depends strongly on donations. No entrance fee is charged to visited the center, leaving it entirely up to you if you want to leave a gift (no matter how big or small). I think this place is the best destination to spend your holiday.
