The Largest Educational and Research Object of Butterflies in Southeast Asia
Bali Butterfly Park is a butterfly and insect conservation facility which have a wide range of specimens through its park grounds of approximately 3,000sqm that located in the Tabanan regency, and it’s about 30km northwest of Denpasar. Bali Butterfly Park is claimed as the largest Butterfly Park in Southeast Asia.
In Bali Butterfly Park you can see hundreds of butterflies from the 15 known species that thrive in Indonesia’s tropics such as Ornithoptera priamus, Troides Helena, Papilio peranthus, and more. There’s also live various other insects and arachnids that exhibit with the details informations about the specimens.
Besides of various specimens that live on the Bali Butterfly Park, you can also found collections of dried butterfly and insect specimens on this park that is set in glass frames which can also be souvenirs for you after you visit the park.
It is a nice place for families especially for their kids to visit because they can see up close, colourful and protected specimens from all over the Indonesian archipelago that are collected in one convenient park.
